By rail

Kings Cross and St Pancras are the closest stations to the Institute of Physics and combined form one of the country's largest transport hubs.

Kings Cross is a Central London railway terminus on the northern edge of the city. It is one of the busiest railway stations in the United Kingdom, being the southern terminus of the East Coast Main Line to North East England and Scotland

Adjacent to King's Cross station is St Pancras International, the London terminus for Eurostar services to continental Europe. Beneath both main line stations is King's Cross St. Pancras tube station on the London Underground.

To plan your journey by rail, visit National Rail and by Tube, visit Transport for London

Participants are recommended to book rail tickets early to take advantage of discounted fares and where possible, use an Oyster or Contactless Payment Card when using the tube.
